A few weeks ago that Android 4.3 has arrived on the Galaxy S4 , through a leaked firmware. Late last week, a second ROM has even pointed the tip of his nose, to make the most of a Nexus experience.
But the world does not necessarily want to skip the Touchwiz overlay and transform its Galaxy S4 Google Edition. So how do you get some Android 4.3 on the Galaxy S4 while keeping the original features.
We have the solution through a fairly simple little tutorial that will allow you, in two distinct steps, add a bit of Android 4.3 on your device.
Sun Beam bottom screen:
We will start by replacing the wallpaper and offer the new version, called Sun Beam on red tones.
To do this, first download the application SunBeam.apk by clicking here .
Then go to Settings , and then more , and then Security . Check the box unknown sources and confirm. Proceed with the installation of the application.
Once that is done, go back into Settings and uncheck the Unknown sources .
It remains only to install our wallpaper. To do this, simply go to Settings -> About device -> Display -> Wallpaper -> Home screen and select Anime wallpapers . Then you will find the bottom of specific screen Android 4.3 Phase Beam. You just have to click on it and go back to the office to visualize:
But this is not all, we can also change the bootanimation.
A new boot animation
But if you can enjoy a new wallpaper, animated, you can also change the boot animation, in order to have one of the Google Edition.
When you start your Galaxy S4 is not the Samsung logo appear, but that of Google, Nexus with four colors (yellow, red, green and blue).
To perform this operation, you must have your Galaxy S4 or previously Roote. Before operation, make a backup that you keep it safe.
Now download the file bootanimation.zip in here and copy it to the SD card of your phone.
With RootExplorer ( available here ), copy the file and paste it in the directory / system / media . It is a replacement for the current boot animation.
Pass the permissions to rw-r-r-and voila.
It'll just restart your Galaxy S4 and see the result:
