TeamViewer: Access and Remote Assistance via Internet

We will see throughout this tutorial how to assist a friend with a concern on his computer. We're going to connect it to a computer via internet. If your friend is a ball in computer operation can be somewhat tumultuous, and you could pull your hair before arriving to your purpose ...

Software handhold remote are used for a long time in business (VNC, PCAnywhere, UltraVNC, LogMeIn), but their configuration is not so simple as it usually requires to properly configure a firewall or a router, define authorized users, which is far too complex for most people who are not experts in all the redirection of TCP / IP ports.

With TeamViewer , remote access via the Internet is a breeze, and no more epilating the scalpAs a bonus, the software is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux and iPhone!

Here's what the friend you want to help should do:

• Download and run this program: TeamViewerQS - tuto4you.exe

• Once the program is launched, a window is displayed on the screen: It contains information that will allow you to connect to your computer. It is an ID (9 digits ID) and a password randomly.

• Your friend has to wait for you to log on your computer.

On your side :
To connect the PC to your friend, you just download the AIO Team Viewer program that will allow you to connect with him: Windows - Mac OSX - Linux - Iphone

You will then have the option to install the program on your PC or simply run without installation.If you plan to use TeamViewer regularly install it on your PC, choose Start is better.

A window will appear on the screen. In the Create session area , it will log in with the ID and password provided by your friend. Choose Helpline then click on Connect to partner .

The password you are asked and once the audit you are connected to the PC of your friend that you can use as if you were in front of his screen.

It is now up to you to help your friend in distress.

Notice the bar at the top of your screen , from there you can also perform certain actions: Send a key combination (eg Ctrl Alt Supp), restart the PC to your friend, help capture anything, switch totransfer files ...

Click on the red cross at the top left of the toolbar to end the remote control.

Access is not permanent, the next use, the password will be different.
