Here is the tutorial to update your Samsung Galaxy S with firmware I9000XWJG1 from July .
We will use Odin 3 v1.0 (Windows Vista and Seven).
1.Installing drivers Samsung Galaxy S
Go to the site and Samung Kies download and install it.
Once installed, connect the Samsung S into a USB port (the phone must not be in debug)
Kies should detect the Galaxy S. If this is the case the driver installation is validated.

2.Download Odin and Firmware I9000XWJG1
I made you a package with everything needed. It is a RAR file. It is .
unzip it in a folder.

You need to save data because you will end up with a phone reseté.
3.Flashing
Remove the SIM card from the phone.
Enable debug mode samsung S (Settings / Applications / Development / USB debugging.
Restart the phone in "download" to turn simultaneously press the On / Off button, Volume Down button and the "home" (the big black square button at the bottom center of the phone).
The screen shows a man digging Android.
Connect to the PC, Windows (Vista or Seven) must install drivers, if this is not the case, restart Kies, unplug and reconnect the phone, let the drivers settle and close Kies.
Start Odin by selecting "Run as administrator".
If your phone is recognized by Odin, one of the small boxes in the top Odin should turn yellow.

Configure Odin like the screenshot (note the checkboxes). Verify that you have configured Odin then press "Start".
The operation lasted 10 minutes in (10 minutes of stress).
Once the update is complete the Samsung Galaxy S and must be restarted I9000XWJG1.
