Android & Easy Tether: Connect to the Internet with a laptop [Android Tutorial] ^^

You have an unlimited internet connection on your mobile phone Android and you want to use this connection for your laptop (it is more comfortable). Here is a method that has worked for me.
Short preamble, use configuration:
Mobile Phone: Samsung Galaxy S
Phone plan: SFR with Option webphone for Android
Laptop with Windows 7 64-bit
1 - On your phone, download and install  Easy Tether Lite is available on Android Market . Alternatively, you can download the application on the following link Teher Easy Lite .
2 - On your computer download and install  Easy Tether , depending on your OS:
Windows 7/Vista/XP: 32-bit / 64-bit
Ubuntu 10.4 + i386 / amd64
Mac OS X: 10.6 / 10.5 / 10.4
Otherwise, you have all the download links on the next page: Easy Tether
3 - On your mobile to USB debugging mode. To do this go to Settings , Applications ,  Development , and checkUSB Debugging.
4 - Launch the application on your phone and follow these steps:

Select the OS of your computer. Tick the box I have already installed this software on my computer . Connect your phone to your computer via the USB cable. If you have already installed the drivers there will be no problem, otherwise you can download from the following link: Driver only for Samsung .

Then go to the task bar and click with the right mouse button on the icon of EasyTether and select Connect via Android . Finally check Enable USB USB tethering services .

Now the tricky part, the configuration of your web browser.
Depending on your mobile operator, you may be blocked. This is the case, for example,  SFR that detects the type of browser that connects to the internet. And if the browser is a computer it will block access. So we have to believe in your network that you connect your mobile and not with your computer.
Again, this part is necessary if you are in SFR but it is not necessarily the case for other providers. I suggest you try to connect to the internet at this point before this operation.
We will modify the 'USER AGENT web browser that you use on your computer in order to trick your operator you browse with your mobile phone.
On your mobile phone go to Internet and craft the following link: Whats My User Agent .

Note the text that appears below the line is Your User Agent . If this can help you here is the text I got on my mobile, it may allow you to save time.
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux, U, Android 2.2, fr-fr, GT-I9000 Build / FROYO) AppleWebKit/5533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1
Now on the web browser on your computer. I give you the details for Firefox . In the area of writing URL about: config . A warning message will appear. Click I would be careful, I promise!
Make a filte with useragent value. Double click on the line general.useragent.extra.firefox . Change the USER AGENT with the one you have collected on your mobile.
The procedure is now complete. It should work. The only drawback with the modification of USER AGENT is that when you go to a site that has a normal version and a mobile version, it will appear that the mobile version. And this will be always the case with the web browser if you do not change the USER AGENT again. Fortunately forFirefox , there is a module that allows you to switch between two or more USER AGENT: User Agent Switcher .

It is also possible to do tethering via Wifi if you do not always have your cable with you. See article:  Wireless Tether: Use your Android phone as a WiFi router .
