How to jailbreak the new iPad running iOS 5.1.1 [iPhone Tutorial]


The Chronic Dev Team has released Absinthe 2.0 program and version 2.0.4 , which allows for iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak one of many iDevices, including the new iPad. Note also that this is the first time a jailbreak is available for the new Apple tablet.
Note that although the technique is exactly the same with the other iDevices supported by absinthe 2.0.4, we will see in this tutorial how Windows with the new iPad

TUTORIAL: JAILBREAK IOS 5.1.1 NEW IPAD


1 - Connect your tablet (or other iDevice) to your computer using its USB cable.
2 - First of all make sure that your device is supported. It is imperative iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 1, iPad 2, a new iPad, or iPod 3G iPod 4G jailbreak iDevice under iOS 5.1.1.
3 - Download Absinthe for Windows (it works with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7).
4 - Double click on "absinthe-win-2.0.4.exe".
5 - The archive will then uncompress program. Wait a minute ... it may take a while ...
6 - When this is finished. Go to the folder "absinthe-win-2.0.4" and double click "absinthe.exe."
7 - Absinthe 2 is now launched. It performs a quick check and automatically detects your device and firmware used. If your iDevice and iOS version are supported by Absinthe 2, then the button "Jailbreak" will be available.
8 - Click on "Jailbreak" and let Absinthe perform its task differences. This may take a while.
9 - After a while your new iPad will be restarted to implement the jailbreak and install Cydia.
10 - Once the steps are completed and you will see the window above, it is your new iPad (or iPhone, iPad or iPod) is jailbroken! At the joys of Cydia!
