If you have a mobile phone Samsung Galaxy S , you'll notice that his weak point is the connection to your PC via the application Samsung Kies . This app is really not up to this wonderful phone Android . But it seems thatSamsung has realized that this is a point that may be blocking quickly to buy their phones.
If you had the opportunity to use this application, you will notice that it recognizes your phone once in two, never see you when connected by USB. I do not count the number of forum which discusses this. But in recent weeks,Samsung made available to the application Kies Air , which is almost the same thing but through your WiFi connection.
This application is now available on Android Market on the following link:
Install the application.
Then turn on the WiFi on your phone and run the application. You just a window with a button Start .
If you do not have WiFi enabled application will ask you to select the connection mode. Click Wi-Fi and application activate wifi for you.
Kies Air will show an IP address in the form http:// 192.168.1.14: xxx /
On your computer, open your favorite browser (eg Firefox), and the url address box, enter the IP address provided by your phone, namely: http:/192.168.1.14:XXXX/ .
When you first log message will appear on your mobile offering to Allow Access. Click Allow .
You will then have access to the entire contents of your phone with a presentation much better than Samsung Kies .
To stop the application on your mobile, simply press the STOP button .
The advantage of this application is that you should be able to log on to a Windows PC, Mac or Linux. But it remains to be seen.
