Complete transfer of your accounts, applications and data from one phone to another

The arrival of a new phone is always an event, we waited, we wished we had ordered and it is there. Only we had our applications, email accounts, our Twitter and Facebook accounts, everything was set to perfection on the old smartphone. Ideally, if we could import everything from the old to the new smartphone would be perfect. We offer here a tutorial for this manipulation.

This manipulation I've quickly again and again during test phone it works perfectly.
This is @ Franck_29  who is stuck writing a detailed tutorial describing the "copy" from one phone to another. Franck describes more precisely the procedure with one source for phone Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 target one.

Here on tutorial published on the Forum GalaxyS-team.fr :
This tutorial aims to transfer all data from an android smartphone (for example, we speak of the SMS but the method should work for most smartphones Adnroid) to SGS2 (in practice this should also work for any Android device ).
The method is based partly on Titanium Backup, it is required that both smartphones are Roote
To achieve this, it sets the list of things to do for his first save correctly SGS and secondly to restore this backup to your brand new SGS2. Systems being different, a number of difficulties have to be taken into account, but with a little discipline and method everything goes well.
It is possible to follow only partially, if you want for example to transfer its SMS.
Types of data transferred are:
-Applications (requires root, transferred via TitaniumBackup)
-SMS (root not required)
-bookmark internet (root not required)
-Contacts (optional root)
-Calendar (root not required)
Tools recommended to install SMS:
SMS Backup & restore (free on the market)
Bookmark I / O (the free market)
iCal Import / Export (free on the market)
Titanium Backup
1 / save the source phone
-Make a full backup with Titanium Backup (Explained in the review titanum Backup in the "applications")
-Save's SMS, using the application SMS Backup & Restore (click on the "Backup" button, it offers an xml file that will store the internal SDCARD, accept the default values)
-Save your internet favorites, using the application Bookmark I / O (click on the icon "Phone" and "menu / Export to SD card ", you enter a simple name, eg" bookmark.html ")
-Save your contacts (those of your phone is not on gmail, requires an external microSD card) (go to application "contacts "menu / ... / Export to SD card. This creates a kind of" 0001.vcf "on your external microSD card (this method is useless if all your contacts are stored on your google account: tutorial to do so: How to stop worrying about contacts
-Save your calendar (it is concerned only with the google calendar, the method to retrieve calendar years, and it is useful for synchronizing google calendar occurs only 2 months back, ie without this method you will lose all your old appointments, dating back more than two months in the past)
Connect from your computer to your google account and run "Calendar" / "Settings Google Calendar" / " Export calendars "/" save. "This action transfers a compressed (zip) your agenda in its entirety (several years if necessary), unzip the file, you get a file with the extension". ics "
