Materials Needed:
IPhone 4 (logical)
A replacement battery
Unscrewing the connector
Be careful not to mix the screws! They come in different sizes ...
Unclipping the connector
We unclipped the battery connector. On the picture I did right, in fact it is easier to left.
Unclipped!
The connector is disconnected from the motherboard.
iTruc plastic
I do not know what is this small room. Perhaps this is a mass (electrical reference)? A simple cache?
In any case, do not lose it!
Off battery
The original battery in the iPhone is using glue. It is not too difficult to extract with your leverage you get there easily.
Then, when you have off the edges, you can remove the battery by pulling up on the plastic tab.
Comparison of 2 batteries
On the left, the original. Right, that replacement. Apart from the QR code, everything is exactly the same.
The reverse is also the same.
Folding connector
We'll have to bend the connector of our new battery, in order to take up as little space as possible in the iPhone.
Then aut redo everything upside down.
Reassembling the connector
Reassembling the connector.
First, reset the iTruc plastic, then the battery and finally, clip the connector.
It remains only to screw!
First recharge
The first recharge can be long. Generally, the battery you receive will be completely discharged.
I suggest you do a full charge on the iPhone, then fully discharge it a few times during the first few days.
Is it possible for someone to send me a side profile of the screw marked 'screw 2' in the first picture? I had lost this one and ordered a replacement set of screws from eBay but none of them seem to fit and there is no hole to screw it in as the bit it touches is a copper circle. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could do this for me. Thanks.
