Install Photosphere on the Galaxy S4

With the arrival of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean last November, Google has brought many new features to its operating system. Among them includePhotosphere , a new way of shooting, which allows 360 ° panoramic photos, and along the three axes.
Unfortunately, the manufacturers have not incorporated this into their new terminals this year 2013. While running Android 4.2.2, the Galaxy S4 unfortunately does not escape the rule. Samsung had made us dream evoking the possible presence of S Orb, a similar fashion, but it will obviously wait for the Galaxy Note 3 to see it land on a Galaxy device.
However, with the Galaxy S4 Google Edition , Photosphere this mode is available. Some hackers have decided to remove the feature to create an application so that we can enjoy this photo mode on the Galaxy S4 classic. And we decided to share with you Photosphere offering you this very simple tutorial that will not ask you any special knowledge.

To begin, download the application GalleryGoogle.zip here , then extract the file. apk. Then copy the application to the memory of your Galaxy S4 or memory card.
Then go to Settings , then More and finally Security . Then check the option Unknown sources and accept.
In my files , you should find the GalleryGoogle.apk application. Press it to begin the installation. It only takes a few seconds.
When finished, go back to Settings , More , then Security and uncheck Unknown sources .
And you end up with two new applications on the last page of your application:

This is the camera and the Android 4.2 gallery. Although the gallery is used in the same way as this natively, we do not be looking there.
Back to the camera. Open the application and press the icon of camera. You then get the following screen:

Single shot, video, panoramic and Photosphere: from right to left, the following functions are available. You will understand that we are interested in is the last one with an icon in the form of globe. Then press it.
A small message is opened at the first use:

We are now in front of this new mode. To begin capturing, we must put its Galaxy S4 horizontally in front of you and aim the little blue dot in the middle:

Then you can take your pictures, left, right, up or down, as you see fit, and up to 360 ° and in the order you want. It may seem you totally messy and tangled pictures, but it does not matter. When you are finished, press the big blue button right now.
You have just taken your first picture with Photosphere. However, the unit must now assemble the various shots to make a single picture. This calculation can take between 5 and 10 seconds. You can also follow the progress in the notification bar:

Once that is done, you can go into the gallery contemplate your first picture taken with Photosphere. Soon, you will not take your photos with this new, very attractive.

When some boast to make panoramic 180 °, the Galaxy S4 goes further and offers you the opportunity to have an angle of 360 °. With Photosphere, add a third dimension to unpublished photos.
Enjoy ;-)
